OPTIKAL consultancy services are led by Kiki, an optometrist, leader and educator with a history of working at the leading edge of change, whose experience includes:

To gain the trust of the people we deal with, these clinical qualifications are credentials that underpin first-point-of-contact eye health treatment services, glaucoma and medical retina case finding and management. During 2012 I also completed PgCert in Academic Practice, relevant to my role as a university lecturer.
1999-2006
MSc in Clinical Optometry
City, University of London
Studying part time whilst working as a clinician was energising and relevant to my evolving clinical work in ocular therapeutics, paediatric eye care, investigative techniques and binocular vision. Professor David Thomson supervised my research project on paediatric vision screening. A study with over 300 subjects aged 4-5 years old, evaluating a computer based screening protocol to identify and manage those with amblyogenic factors.
